Wow, thanks for all the kind and encouraging comments on yesterday’s photo. Things have been very busy and sometimes chaotic around here the past couple of weeks. You all never fail to give me smile to help me go back and face it.
Now here’s a little bit of the “crazy” that’s been going on. I walked into the living room yesterday and saw signs that someone in the house was bleeding. I turned, of course, to my sons to see which one was hurt. Both were happy, sitting on the couch watching a movie, but there was a wee bit of blood on my older son’s chin. Oh boy, now what? Sure enough, a tooth was missing. The one next to it was loose, but it wasn’t the one that was supposed to come out next. And frankly, I didn’t know that the missing tooth (never found it) was loose. If it had been.
Within five minutes he had pulled the second tooth. WHAT?! The two teeth he knocked out earlier last year still aren’t in. Now two more are gone. I never did find them.
When I got home this morning my oldest daughter found a molar upstairs in the middle of the floor. I checked over my son’s mouth. He had all his molars, but sure enough, the tooth that should’ve come out next, and wasn’t loose yesterday, was gone this morning. WHAT?! Anyway, there is one tooth coming in, so I guess it was time for at least one of them to come out, but here’s the big question…where did all the teeth go? (I think he ate them.) And I guess question #2 is, who wants to bet when that fourth bottom front tooth comes out? I guessin’ by tomorrow noon the latest.
Take a guess on the photo or the tooth loss, or both! Stay warm if it’s cold where you are and have a wonderful week!!
lovely colours here btw....definitely a flower, but my botany isnt that great so i really dont know which flower it is...
Beautiful frame and beautiful tonalities. Taken very well and processed. Greetings
It's a lily? It's stunning!
I hated the days of losing teeth...it was pretty gross...I don't miss it.
I do remember finding a tooth in a sleeping bag when I was cleaning up after a rather large group of boys had a sleep over at our house...and it wasn't one of my boys' teeth...to this day I have no idea whose tooth it was.
I still wonder where the tooth fairy left the loot? ;-)
Haha, poor you. Indeed, where have all the teeth gone? I have no idea. As I don't have any idea about the recent photograph. Very stunning tomes, though. And it's really relaxing to experience how the eye is led through the frame.
Eh who needs teeth anyways, I bet he's swallowing them in his sleep.
Not sure what this is but it sure is interesting to look at.
Is it an Amaryllis???? If not I think it is some kind of flower.
Looks like a lily to me.
Some kind of flower?
Its a flower!
Apparently, he doesn't want those teeth!
And I have no clue what this image is!
Some sort of flower.
Micki. Very bizzar happenings re teeth. Does he pull them out himself or just worry them till they fall out? Or is someone else pulling them out for him? Indeed, where do the teeth go????
Great shot today. It's an oriental lily where the stamen (?) grows out of the centre of the flower. Great colours and wonderful macro.
some kind of flower...surely it can't be this easy! hehe.
The inside of some sort of lilly. You take such good closeups.
Glad I am through with the tooth business too. Loosing so many will make eating corn on the cob difficult.
Hmmm, it looks like some type of sea creature. Do you have an aquarium?
Beautiful macro, no clue as to what that is:(
Great closeup :) I suppose it's some kind of flower... is it?
sounds like the Tooth Fairy has been busy at your house!
As for the pic, absolutely no idea :)
He's saving the 'lost' teeth in hopes of collecting a complete set :-)
This shot has me thinking of strawberries and cream...
