Well, I learned from last month’s full moon shots and I was out there shooting this morning again. Hopefully I’ll be able to get out tonight and tomorrow and maybe Thursday morning before the clouds and rain move in. I’ve found some wonderful locations in the past month to shoot by the light of the moon.

This shot is from the end of the road I live off of. It was so foggy that morning, but the kids had school work to do, so we couldn’t go out shooting. I went down the road and took a few shots as the sun was getting high in the sky. The fog was very thick and all the colors were gone, so I added on a pink filter to warm the scene up a bit. The filter was from a set of Cokin filter where you can snap in a different color filter ranging from light pink to purple and all the shades of the rainbow in-between.

Looks like the pink worked well to warm up this scene.

Lovely peaceful, calm, and quiet shot.

This is wonderful. The tree branches frame the dock really well and the pink filter gives it the touch of color that the fog is usually lacking.

Lovely shot, Micki. That looks like a place where I'd like to go, remove my shoes, dip my feet into the water, and do a bit of fishing! Very peaceful and lovely.

Adorable, magical, mist. The subtle filter has added just the right amount of warmth to this peaceful scene. One of the best, I’d say.

Very nice. I admire anyone with the patience to use a filter, this was definitely a good selection. Nicely composed too, with the branches providing the framing.

Micki. This is such a beautiful shot... so mysterious. I love the effect of the filter and the trees and grass framing the image. And I love fog photographs!

Yeah Suby back a little to meet this awesome awesome shot you have here, WOW WOW WOW... I am more than impressed, composition is "tight" ( perfect), the lighting is so sublime I wish I took this shot.

You know what I really do think this is one of your "bestest" images ever. Really loving this image with each second I look at it. What a way to start the New Year, wow wow wow.

You get a well deserved "I LIKEY" from the Subster for this awesome shot. I duff my virtual hat of to you Lady Micki, trully awesome.

Great call on the pink filter - really does add quite a bit of 'body' to that elusive fog...
