Yesterday’s Take a Guess shot was of a Duplo block…one of those giant Leggo building blocks that are for toddlers to work with. They are quickly being replaced with the normal Leggos in our house, as my four year old is becoming quite the Leggo master. I know what I need to buy more of this month.
Totally rained out last night, but here’s to a good week ahead! The rain is gone, the sun is out, and as soon as that cold wind dies down, we’ll be good to go. Hope you’re all enjoying the season.
I could have easily fit this growth of little mushrooms in the palm of my hand. They are among my favorite variety. Again, I believe this was from right after Ernesto blew through, and the yard was a fairyland of mushroom growth. I caught this bunch in a bit of sunshine that broke through the clouds for a brief moment.
Nice mushrooms! :) Who's Ernesto? :)
Sorry... your comments showed up after I posted mine... Now I know what Ernesto is :)
Ahhh...mushrooms...lovely colors. Great shot.
Very nice shot, great colors
love the lighting in the this one, feels very mellow...great colours as always....8/10
i'm wondering if the 1 sec shutter speed cuased the yellowness of the photo. you do have a good selection of mushroom photos in your blog :)
I almost got specific with yesterday's ID and said 'Duplo', but I couldn't remember if the Duplo blocks have hollow pegs...
This is quite the close-knit 'shroom family here!
Nice shot. I didn't realize they were so tiny. Its nice to see that something good came out of Ernesto.
Very nice shot. It looks like a little forest.
What terrific color, Micki.
I'm not a big fan of mushrooms for eating but I love your picture. Very cool colors.
Excellent macro. Well framed shot!
A little family! They make me think to a fairy tale!

Beautiful shot, very nice colors.
The colours look a little odd here
really nice to see this little clump of mushrooms - any idea if they're edible or not?
Can I eat this mushrooms... ?? Or are the toxic ?
lovely shot..
NIce shot micki, Cheers!
I’m glad you mentioned the scale of these little beauties. Mushrooms always look to be thoroughly enjoying themselves and, as here, all in a happy huddle.
