Wow!! What a weekend! I dragged the kids out yesterday evening to get in some photography. They weren’t thrilled. We were headed all the way east again to the most eastern, southern part of the peninsula. Actually a wee bit north of that, but we ended up making a few stops along the way. For a change, I was running ahead of plans and didn’t have to chase the light. I waited for it. Because we were ahead, I made a stop here, and there, and then we wound up at the lighthouse. I was told it was a great place for a sunset. Didn’t believe it, didn’t think it faced the right direction. It did. It was gorgeous and the girls ended up having a good time. They saw a jellyfish in the water, and the boys watched Tom and Jerry on the portable DVD player. Then they thought we were going home, but we still had to get to the original place I had intended on shooting when we left home two hours earlier. After that, it was a long drive home, but not without a stop at Sonic for milkshakes. (I have no problem with payoffs and bribes to get what I want.) That was their reward for coming along without nary a grumble.
This morning I was up at 4:30 so I could start shooting at 5:30. It was a pretty morning, but quite chilly. Now for the necessary tasks of the day, then hopefully an early bedtime for Mamma. Hope you all have a good one and let’s all….
Take a Guess…..
This definitely looks like a bowl of fresh bread pudding to me . . but I am invariably so far off-beam that it could be a blocked sink outlet.
Looks like Italian ice, maybe cola or root beer, (slushy), but I'm probably not even close.
Lord only knows! :)
No idea but it looks pretty scary.
Frozen Coffee? Or you left a chocolate milkshake in the car overnight and it froze.
Sounds like a wonderful evening of shooting. Payoffs and bribes always help things go smoother (or more quietly...)
some kind of facial mask or spa treatment?
Although it looks like something that came out of my transmission once upon a time...
