Yesterday’s photo was the window air conditioning unit to the post office in Ordinary that I posted on last Tuesday’s A Glimpse of My Town Tuesdays.
You’ve seen this little guy
closer up and in greater detail. Here’s a shot of him playing peek-a-boo with me. We spent quite a bit of time that afternoon doing this, actually.
I’m finally going through all of my prints and pulling out the ones that I haven’t scanned and posted. That’s why you’re just now seeing these shots. I took them back in July.
Have you ordered the latest issue of Lightleaks? Get ‘em while they’re hot!
Cool bug macros, Micki. Really like the color.
Love the colors in these shots too Micki. I have to get myself some extension tubes and yes I've ordered my year subscription of Lightleaks magazine:)
Beautiful colors indeed. He's an odd looking little critter.
this little bug is really cool, I like the colors of the insect and the flower
What a cool looking little guy!
Thats a cool looking bug.

Love that pink!
Great macro shot...
lol, nice title......7.5/10
Love the colors here and the title is way cool!!
i like the dof here...and the red leaf is great contrast from the bug...nice capture:-))
A fine macro. Enjoying colors
beatiful shot my inglish is very bad to say more things about your pictures, y dont use artificial efects y just take the picture like you do my friend...
Nice shot, color treatment is really pleasing to my eye. What the heck kind of bug is it?
Very strange cool bug!
Cool and colorful macro shot !
Hi Mici, did you use a tripod to take these shots?
They don't look very neat.
However, i love the colors of this bug.
Have a nice day
I love the tones of the bug are matching the background he although different colours could merge into the plant so easily. I would love to take a shot like this but poking my face near a bug like that for a photo is not going to happen ;-)
Micki, that is a cool bug and I'm sure that you had a blast playing peek-a-boo with it! :-)
You have, through your photos and stories, formed an indelible association between bugs and toads. So that, now, when you shoot bug photos, all I see is toad food ... not to be confused with tofu! ;-)
I remember the jacket this little fellow was wearing before. Now, it is the antennae that amaze.
Lovely lovely captures, your macros are always so amazing. Me still want a people shot at least once in a while Micki :)
SUby
Congrats on these macro shots! I'll add your site to my links (shame on me: I thought I already did...). Ciao!
Hey, great shots of the bug. Nice DOF and good timing.
Very cool!
Joel
Lovely how the leaf has an almost velveteen appearance here - what a cooperative little bugger!
