Did some more test shots this morning in the predawn light. Hope to learn a lot from those, and if I'm lucky, get back a print that's good enough to post.
Today I should be getting a set of prints from one of the new labs I'm trying out. I sent more color film off to a second lab to test their work and a roll of b&w to a lab in AZ. Can't wait!

Film - Kodak Tri-X

Boats and water can be a great mix for relaxation or excitement. The relaxation looks to be turned up full, here! Very placid and calming shot.
There's nothing more laid back than getting in a boat and just drifitng, great advice.
Very nice b&w! As Patty said, it is very soothing.
Wow, what a lovely image. So crisp, silent and peaceful.
This is a very calming image. Well titled. Awhile ago you mentioned that you had a new scanner on your wish list. I was wondering if you decided on which one you wanted to get.
I love the mood this photo conveys...it always make me excited about going up north this Thursday to relax and take pictures of the lake.
This is so good because of the way you have cropped this. Beautiful!
I like this relaxed b/w shot
have a good weekend

I remember days in my childhood camping by the beach and walking the long sands to discover boats I could sleep under or drift the tidal shallows in. Laying on my back across the seat of a dingy looking up at the sky and thinking of what tomorrow will bring.
Nice image Micki.
I like the shots you've posted the last days. they are more graphic and simple. go ahead :)
Love this dearly, it just SCREAMS SUNDAY!!!!!!!!

Perfectly relaxing - I can hear the ripples lapping against the boat's hull...
