Hmmmmmm, some sort of truffle!
I realized I'm running out of Take a Guess shots, so I'd better get to clicking. I took a couple yesterday, I really need to do some scanning. Thank goodness for vacation. I hope I can get all I want to do and most of what I need to do done these four weeks. (Like my priorities there?)

Well, so far, the guesses are no help to me. I’m going for an ice-topped layered sponge cake and second helpings, please. If I break a tooth, I’ll know it was a clamshell like terrorkitten says and if it is fungus, it’s goodbye.
Hm... I'd say... a cookie or a mushroom, but I'm not too sure... And of course, the suspense is killing me =)

I'm pretty sure that I know what that is. It's one of those fungi that grow on the sides of decaying trees. Right? :-) Hey! I think that I finally might get one.

Really like the light/shadows on this one. As guessed above-- a fungus.

My first thought was that it looked very shell-like, but the surface doesn't look smooth. So my next thought was a cookie.
