So sorry I’m late today with my post, dear Suby. I woke up at quarter to five, hit some blogs for an hour, ran my laps, did some cleaning, then woke up all the kids to go out shooting for awhile. Then I came home, took one test shot to finish off the roll of film and put everything away. Here I am, it will probably be like this on Sundays for awhile…until the sun starts rising later and I get out a little later. Then I’ll post before I go.
Hoping to shoot a free concert on the court green this afternoon and then some shooting this evening since I have to be out anyway. Boy I hope I get to.
Have a beautiful day everyone!
Oh, Otto! That was just a normal polarizing filter, not a warming one. PlasticTV, I will definitely open up next time I use the polarizer to retain more details in the shadows now that I know the effects of using the polarizer at sunset. I hope I am able to run more test shots soon.
For today’s Take a Guess image I used my macro lens and a very limited dof to try to stump you all. Can you guess what useful item this is? Something we should all have at least one of and keep very handy. If you use one regularly, you should be able to recognize what this is by looking at the focused area of the image.
Things I’m Thankful to Cliff For…. Taking the time to clean all the bones out of the fish you caught so the grandchildren wouldn’t have to worry about them when eating that yummy fresh Lake Erie walleye.
Map! I haven't been able to figure out the last four but I'm pretty sure this is a map:).
Yep, I think it's a map, too. :-)
I can make out letters, but the colors threw me off a bit. Then I noticed what looks like a ring binding, so I thought about it for a while, then I looked closer at what looked like string across it. and realised it isn't string its part of the page. I think it's a plastic ring bound road atlas.
If that's not the shallowest DoF i've ever seen! Street directory would be my guess. :)
I have no clue! :-)
How about the string of a tennis racket?
Initially I thought a tee-towel but then read everyone else's guess and had another look, and another look, and yet again and finally think everyone else is right and it's a map.
Yup...a road map! Cool shot Micki! Love the blur!
Best guess. Some kind of notebook with drawings on it. Crossing my fingers.
Oh, I hate it when you do this. I'm terrible at guessing. Good one!
Looks like a road map to me, but it took a little while to figure out!
Looks like a hotpad to me.
I guess I’ll go with the road atlas but, initially, it looked like some kinda tack stitching on a quilt. Close!
definitely a map; the narrow focus and angle does make this a tricky one though.
Okay, where are my glasses? It's a... notebook of some sorts. No? Hmmm. A piece of robe on a... yet to specify something? Oh wait, there are letters, right? I give up. Dunno. What is it? What is it???? Hm? Whaaahaat?
*jumps up and down like a 5 yr old*
