Take a guess my good photoblogging friends. How I wish we could all get together this Fourth of July weekend and have a big BBQ. No difference which country we’re all from, I’d love to have you all here to celebrate. Can you just imagine how many images would be captured?
Things I’m Thankful to Cliff For…. Dragging us out for a two hour drive to Pennsylvania after bedtime to watch you do a little night fishing until dawn. The ride and the evening weren’t so bad, but that darn Porta-Potty was awful!!
Green beans?
I would love to be in the US during Fourth of July, Micki. Beautiful fireworks display, I was told. And of course, a BBQ sounds wonderful and yummy. :-)
I am going to guess green beans too.
Funky green bristles :-) Nice macro.
Could it be a scrub?
i would guess the bristles on a brush....great shot and DOF.
happy 4th micki!
I'm Canadian, but my wife is a Yankee, so I'm all for a July 4 Celebration.
This is a macro of a toy. Specifically a small rubber ball with a whole bunch of rubber "tenticals" on it. I think they're called "Koosh Balls", but I'm not sure.
i'm always so bad at guessing... i won't be in the States for July 4th but i'll be there in time for Halloween! :)
I reckon this is a plastic brush or broom head – although I felt certain all such things there were harvested from the broomcorn patch! Neat macro whatever.
Happy 4th of July! And i think its beans.
I'm thinking this is one of those toys that bounces and is pokey all around? I dont know the name for it
Thanks for the invite Micki, maybe next year :-).
Is it a brush ?
ends of fake flowers..
neat shot:)
I have no idea, looks like vegetation of some sort.
But it sure is pretty.
Bristles of a brush was my first thought.
Sea anemone. Bet you have tonnes of them in the forest.
I would have to go with plastic bristles from some kind of bruch as well. It's cool!
I'm going to say a toy of some sorts.
Plastic green beans?
I have no freakin' idea.
A big thanks for the link, by the way.
Cool Shot, like the DOF used and the very rich green Micki.
I wish I knew what it was!
I agree with you about a big BBQ - sounds like a blast.
A brush maybe?
Micki, I'm going to have to go with the Koosh Ball. Yep, that's it!
BTW, since tomorrow is the 4th of July, we'll need to see those fireworks shots! There are so many events going on in Charlotte, NC, that I'll have to make a decision about which to attend. I'm thinking downtown with the buildings as a backdrop for the fireworks. Be sure to stop by on the 5th!
Paul
...something plastic.
That's as good as I can do.
:)
That would be a great fun event! Maybe some day it could happen.
I missed this yesterday, but I didn't look for the answer on todays post. I think it looks like a "koosh" ball, at leat I think that is what it is called. Or some toy similar to that. Now I will go see the answer, and feel foolishly wrong. LOL
