In answer to the question PlasticTV asked yesterday, we live in the woods, I mean in the woods. Although we have about 3 ½ acres of land, less than one half acre of that land is cleared for our house and yard, so we are pretty much living right in amongst the critters, birds, and bugs. Oh do we have bugs. So, PlasticTV, my daughter just walks out the door and goes over to where she knows there are grasshoppers and grabs one. She drops it in the aquarium and praises her pets loudly when they eat it.

naturegirl, my son does love his music! Which is good, ‘cause so does his momma!

It is a sad day for me. I put my favorite, very well worn out, jeans in the wash yesterday, and they came out with a rather large hole on the backside. No more wearing these any more. I am major depressed. I’m going to grab my second favorite pair and wear them all weekend. I will scooch around the house on my knees as much as possible, trying to wear the knees out as quickly as I can.

So depressed.

Another Holga image today. This was one of my first close up shots with the Holga. The closest you can get to your subject with a Holga is three feet. Pretty pleased with the focus value on this shot.

Camera - Holga from www.Holgamods.com, get you one now.
Film - Fuji Color Pro 400H
Shutter Speed - Who cares.
Aperture Setting - Don’t know, didn’t have to think about it.
Lens - cheap, small, and plastic. Smudges easily, clean it off with your shirt…it’s a Holga.
Scanning Method - My scan from my cheap little hp officejet 5510v all-in-one copy/scanner/faxer/printer

Things I’m Thankful to Cliff For…. Vacations to Pymatuning State Park in the PortaCabin.

Lovely so soft and natural.

Too bad about your jeans. I hate when a favorite pair wears out.

It's amazing how popular that little camera is. On a quality scale, it's pretty bad, but it sure makes nice, nostalgic looking photos.

I like it!

Bummer about the jeans. Pun totally intended:). Are those your lillies? Nice holga shot. I'm waiting on my first roll from my holga to come back. I also just bought a Diana camera on Ebay and hoping it will come in the mail today. Have a great weekend!

That sounds really grand Micki! i think all kids should be brought up close to nature. i myself grew up playing catch and hide & seek all over the hills behind my old house. :)

The Holga picture looks creepy, but i do like its "artsy" effect.

And sorry about your jeans. Gosh i haven't worn out a single pair of jeans before. Guess living in the urb is really different.

Micki. I'm sure you'll have your 2nd favourite pair as your favourites in no time at all! I have confidence in you. :-)

I really like the soft, soft feel to this image and the colour of the lilies is lovely. Chris

Classic Holga work - my condolences on your jeans.
I quietly mourn the passing of each and every pair of Levi's that gets taken out of service - usually from the same unexpected laundry failure you describe.

Long live denim!
