I’d like to say I was late posting this morning because I was out doing my Sunday morning shooting, but I wasn’t. Looks like that plan might not work out. I hope you all have the support for your passion that you need. I guess that’s why I’m kinda hooked on the blogs. I so enjoy seeing work from people who love to do what I love to do. If I visit your site, I’ll always leave a comment. I believe that positive feedback is a wonderful thing. With encouragement, one can do anything they set their minds to. The feedback you leave here daily means more to me than any of you could imagine. Thank you.
I found the song I was looking for yesterday. My daughter actually told me how to find it. I just typed in a couple of the lines followed by "- Lyrics" on Yahoo. It was the second or third link down. Then I found the drum tabs on MXTabs. They're so simple and easy, I won't have to transcribe them. The song is My Own Worst Enemy, and the band is Lit. It's a fun little song...check it out if you haven't heard it.
Today’s Take a Guess isn’t too difficult. Those of you who are regulars here and know a little about me should get it right away. (Was that a hint, or was it already too easy?)
It was already pretty easy Micki. Tips of your well-used drum sticks.
Definitely your drum sticks Micki. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. Cheers... Chris
Definitely drum sticks. As someone who used to have a drum set and was in the percussion section of the school band for a long time, I'm quite familiar with those. :-)
Drum sticks, but not the sort you cook on the barbecue. Great weather weekend so will have one later. Thanks for all the positive comments :-)
Drum sticks ? :-D
Keep on drummin'
yeah.. drum sticks!
A perfect dominion of the DOF
Most of the times, i am losts during your "take a guess" post, but this time its not the case. I too feel like others that its the drum sticks, but again who knows ;-) And the picture has a good dof!
drum sticks ! Micki :)
have a nice day!!
For the first time ... I was confident I would answer your challenge correctly immediately after I saw the photo. :-) ... it's drum sticks.
I feel silly for even writing this, but as you said, it's good to leave a comment when you've stopped by a blog: they are drum sticks. It was easy even for those who are not regulars at your blog because in the second paragraph of your info today you mentioned your search for drum tabs. Big givaway...
I won't say it.... :o)
Nice shot Micki!
very nice macro! good work
This is a great detail shot. I like to think about all the miles on those sticks, and your composition, shallow dof, warm tones, set the mood for that sort of reverie.
It's a safety fork for small children. It has these ball things on the ends of the tines so they don't poke themselves and end up with perforated cheeks.
Drumsticks! My oldest son had these...only nylon tipped.
Great DOF and echo.
I was way behind schedule today too, as you can see since I usually visit in the morning and here it is almost 9pm. Just one of those days.
Wooden drumsticks? I appreciate YOUR
FEEDBACK when visiting my site..thank you!
i can't miss yr sunday quiz:-P always fun...this look like drum sticks...but not sure, nice dof shot:-)
Drumsticks. Nice DOF; interesting abstract. Cheers, Brent
Chicken legs......drumsticks
One of our friends is a dedicated drummer, so that was an easy one :-)...
Tools that aid in the use of a common percussion instrument commonly referred to as "the drum."
agree with everyone else: drumsticks. good macro
Well they say drum sticks so I'll say its mortar (from mortar and pestle)
Loving the shot too, GREAT GREAT SHOT!!!
School is starting so I will not be able to come and comment as often as I would like to, sorry :(
Play drums and a photographer !...no end to your talents :-)
Drumsticks! And that is a good song too. In fact the whole album it's on (called "A Place In The Sun") is really good , whichis rare in this day and age.
I like the really narrow DOF inthis image too.
But of course, these stick tips were unmistakable upon first seeing them - just think of the photographic possibilities the whole kit could offer! Snares and lugs and tones and textures...
