I’m out the door for my first run of hauling kids to swim lessons. I took hummingbird photos this morning…with a flash. Hoping they come out better, as the feeder is in the shade.

Suby, remember, I’m behind you by about 5 hours, and I never post before noon your time.

What to do with all the daisies I’ve been buying? Here’s some miscellaneous shots I took.

Have a great weekend all!!

Gorgeous. Love the boots one. Would have liked to have seen a little bit more of the offspring in the last one, especially so I can recognise her in Osaka airport when she comes to do my cleaning.

Lovely shots. Wonderful lighting in all of them.

I can't decide which one I like best, they are all so good.

I may take a while in deciding. ;P

Again, enough material here for a week on most photoblogs, Micki. The study with the boots is a superb image by any standards and the composition in #4 is faultless. A four-ace set for sure!

I absolutely love the first image. The boots match the flowers so well and the play of light and shadow is great. The fourth image is also lovely, because of the green dress and the great composition.

Eeeeck you trying to kill me? Too many images, Hey stick to a max of two, you gonna get people missing out on commenting on ALL your shots.

Now these are 4 shots that you could have posted in a series for 4 days, why deprive yourself of genuine comments on each one. They are all great but since I am stubborn like that only commenting on thge 1st shot (wish luckily for you is my favourite).

So you get yourself a covetd "I Likey" from the Subster. I am loving the idea of the shot, the composition is sublime and although it is a colour shot, it has this almost old and weathered black & white feel to it. The DOF works reall well. Daisies and old boots, would never have thought of that. Like the way you placed them by the tree.

Darn why didn't the Subster think of this shot and take it himself :)

Ohwell at least the sead of an idea of a shot has been placed in my mind. Thanks Micki.

Now for inspiring me with your shot (which is not an easy thing to do ) "I duff my virtual hat of to you Ma'am"

Have a lovely weekend.

Suby
P.s
I know your are 5 houyrs behind, I just love given you a hard time when I visit and you are still 5 hours behind :)

Micki these are really atmospheric and cool. I think using your "cheap little hp officejet" adds to the color saturation in a good way. A great series!

Yeah, the 1st shot is my best. Exquisite composition. And the lighting is just spot on. It has I think this 70s style look to it.

Nice shots. Cockney rhyming slang for boots is 'daisey roots' So pull on your daises. I like the boots shot the best, hence all the rambling!

Micki. That boots image is sensational. Love all the photos but that one pops off the screen at me. I'm seeing your daughter's legs and arms as being a purple colour. Is this the case? Chris

Daisies with white/reddish boots, nice harmony there. Light in between the shadows on the lower left and brown/green background makes up a lovely set up. Cheers!
