Just a female Mallard I shot on a Sunday morning at the park last month. Have a great day folks!

Camera - Konica Minolta 70
Film - Kodak Max ISO 400
Shutter Speed - 1/180
Aperture Setting - f-5.6 Program Mode
Lens - Sigma 70-300mm @ 300mm
Scanning Method - My scan from my cheap little hp officejet 5510v all-in-one copy/scanner/faxer/printer


Things I’m Thankful to Cliff For…. The great BBQ’s we’d have once the garden was in!!

There is no such thing as "just a duck." All ducks are totally wicked. If it was up to me, everyone would have pet ducks instead of those stupid little dogs that bark at absolutely everything.

Proud, home-loving, ambitious and a good mother, I’m sure. Walks, runs, swims, flies to great purpose . . never ‘just a duck’ but sure a nice little pic.

Excellent - a perfect example of textural interplay. The DoF choice 'floats' the duck on that field of stones...
