I can't believe I've been doing this for 11 weeks in a row. Anyway, I was going to give you all a hint, but half of you managed to guess the truck a couple of weeks ago...so, for a most rare moment in time-my lips are zipped. (Until it's time to eat my daily little chunk of Dove's dark chocolate, which I will gladly enjoy after I do my laps around the house.)
Truly a stumper, hmmm...
If I had to venture a guess, I'd say that this is detail from the headset portion of a bicycle or tricycle, the part where the steering column and handlebars go.
If I had to venture a guess :-)
Aha, it's a contraption for humanely capturing beetles or as you Americans say "bugs", prior to releasing them via the screw stopper, for photographic duties. I like your bicycle pics. PS, sorry I guessed so quickly.
Well, it looks like a stop-nut (I think that's what they are called), probably on a bicycle or tricycle.
MMMMM....Dove chocolate.....mmmmmmm.
Looks more like a dial on a lantern or stove or something of that kind. Me right? Me right? Me right? Me right? Me right? Me right?
So what me win? :)

P.s
Good one, Hey you inpspired me to put up 2 "Can you guess" shots last week :)
Some sort of a cap on a cylinder maybe?
Very cool shot too :)
Valve where you add refrigerant to a/c system for vehicle.
Looks to me like a screw thing for raising and lowering the handlebars on a scooter.
Here I thought my "guess what" was new and fun. =) I guess I just haven't been visiting your blog long enough.
No idea, Micki, but I like the minimalism and background here. It's very strong abstract. Regards, Brent
I think it's the mechanics on top of a public toilet (possibly a urinal). Either that or a bottle jack.
Good close up revealing hard eat on the nut, and the rust.
Best
Well, there's a screw, but I'm not sure about the rest of the photo...
No clue, however i like the details and the dark blue sky!
like this one.... your photos seem to be overlaping the about text....i use a firefox browser.
It's beautiful. Hope it's on display somewhere
It's your robot's "hand me that other filter and go make me a cup of tea" button, isn't it?
This is a tough one. I, originally, thought it was a valve of some kind like on a pressure lid . . but, reading the other tries, I’m going over to cycle adjustment on the handlebars. Btw, I, too, am finding your text overlapping the pics on Firefox, IE.7 and AOL. Been happening for coupla days but it don’t spoil my fun none.
don't really get it. nice background. great shot.
I've looked at this a few times and I can't figure it out. I have no idea.
i have no idea:-)...but nice juxtaposed shot....can be part of machine things?:-)
hi, micki. well, i won't say 'oh! it's beautiful...', 'oh... it's awesome', 'brilliant shot', 'fantastic' and thousand of bla bla bla just to please you.
what i can say is that, you're creative and never run out of ideas.
hmmmm, this is really difficult one!! it seems as the top part of an old lamp for a drawing table!!.... great macro by the way!!!! ohhh i made it i made it!!! i could come on a take a guess day!!!! i really missed them!!! :D
A tricky one, does anyone getting the right answer get some of that Dove's chocolate.
I guess it's a valve on a radioator.
Maybe a thermocouple mount?
ufo ?
I'll go out on a limb and say...something metallic.
Looks like some valve cap or something...Can't tell on this one.
