A lot of questions about yesterday’s park. It is very large, I believe the lake is 45 acres. You are able to rent several different types of water craft and go fishing or just cruise the lake. Dozens of Canada Geese make a year round home there, as well as swans and other water fowl. A lot of them are injured and probably wouldn’t make it out in the wild on their own. There are miles of trails for hiking, running, horseback riding and bicycling. The longest trail is 9.5 miles. The park offers a lot of instructional seminars on wildlife, including night hikes looking for owls, snakes and spiders. Our homeschool group uses their large lodge for picnic events. I haven’t gone out to pick up my infrared film yet with that photo of the ranger station. I must do that, too. I tried something a little different on this last roll I shot, and I’m just a little worried and not in that much of a hurry to pay $25 for the developing (and drive the long trip to pick up the prints) if my tests didn’t work.
OK, it’s TAKE A GUESS SUNDAY. So, guess away! Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!! I’ll call you later.
Happy Mother's Day!
Hmmm...I think you got me here.
At first I thought "sea foam" but at closer inspection the edges seem a little too crisp to be sea foam. Then I thought something edible. Could be even though this pespective doesn't look very tasty. The best I can come up with is potato of some sort.
I was thinking something edible as well. Maybe bread of some sort, a pancake?
It looks to me that it's edible. But can't really figure out what it is.
Happy Mother's Day .. hope you had fun with your family.
Best wishes.
Happy Mothers Day Micki:). This looks like a piece of cake to me.
Happy mother's day :)
My guess is salt or sand or brown sugar....lol
My vote goes for cake. Come to think of it, gonna cut myself a slice right now . . lol . .
Happy Mothers Day! Like most of the guys i too think its a cake.
Happy Mother's Day to you!
Hm, must be food, but no potato chip this time ;). Cake is a good guess. Looks also a bit like marzipan (almond paste).
P.S. Also, thank you for answering yesterdays question. :)
This evening my head is also in the clouds!!
Good night!
No idea... reminds me of sugar or some kind of candy. Makes me want to eat it :)
Hmmmm...sugar?
Sugar, cake, no sugar cake. AAAAAaaaaaaahhhhh Igive up now , now tell me what it is :)
Hey you have inspired me to put up one or 2 of these what are they shots, I have queued up one or 2 to pop up this weekend. Good luch guessing. Hope you have a lovely week.

Hi Micki

Happy mother's day!!
Mickie,
Another stumper. It looks like some of the fruit I pulled out of the freezer a while ago.
Happy Mother's Day Micki
As fo this Macro...I think it will be quite a hard task figuring it out. Ill go for a portion of a cake or bread maybe?
it looks sugary to me. this is nice. and happy mother's day;)
cool shot i like the softedge:-) i guess it's a piece of bread:-)
Bread or cake...am I allowed two guesses? :)
Hmm.. I'll have to agree with the others.. Maybe cake or pastry of some sort??
it looks like bread for me :)
My first guess was some kind of sugar cake, but after reading some of the other comments I don't have a clue.
I'm guessing sugar on something? Maybe breakfast cereal?
I have to go with cake too. ???
Happy Mother's Day, Micki :) I guess, its a cake.
sugar on a cake?
Cake or bread for me. Nice macro; I'm loving that DOF. Excellent technical work, Micki. Regards, Brent
Whn I first glanced the photo it looked like an erupting volcano but taking a proper look I think it must be something pretty tasty to eat.
This one's really a stumper, but confections seem to be a likely category for this subject. Looks almost like a sugary crust on top of something tasty!
I love very much this one Micki !
