It’s Abstract Fridays – P
Now, first and foremost, remember, I don’t post process. Secondly, I wanted the spot of green tree in the picture. I thought it gave some place for the eye to rest before coming back to the P on the left. If I didn’t want it in the shot, I would have framed it differently. So, having said that, you have my abstract post for the day.
Camera - Konica Minolta 70
Film - Fuji HQ ISO 200
Shutter Speed - 1/90
Aperture Setting - f-8 Aperture Mode
Lens - Sigma 70-300mm lens
Polarizing Filter
Scanning Method - York Photo Labs’ scan
I am liking it.
P.s
Even without reading that u wanted the spot of green in the shot, I already knew that. Hey give us some credit. Just that sometime you always have annoying people like me go "I would have prefferred....." :)

Straight forward and to the point. Nice combo of colors.
Love the contrast and the lines.GREAT SHOT!
Another unusual point of you... Nice work micki!
Michael
I like... I like...for a second I thought you were calling me. Yup some lazy people do call me P. instead of Philippe...annoyin...
Anyways...great abstract...the green adds a lil JE NE SAIS QUOI to the photo...otherwise i would have been a lil naked IMHO. Excellent Work Micki. Cheers!
it* would have been a lil naked (not I)so soooorrryyyy...oooo typo typo!
Good. I'm glad you put the green in. I like that it's out of focus. You still look at the p but the green is soothing.
A very BOLD print and I've got to try this! As you know I love colour, thus this my favorite.... Man you really hit the nail on the head with this one!!! Great job. I really mean it.
very simple motiv with great effect
Lovely color combination, cool shot!
pretty colors combination:-) nice compositon and angle:-)
"P" for parking!
Happy Friday!!
Loved this ...... an ordinary and drab sign converted into something eyecandy ..... Nice work.
I like this photo. It's almost surreal, and it's got great colors. Good work.
(pssst.. I missed the memo about Abstract Friday.. hmmm)
I tried an abstract with a stopsign like a week ago... it did not work...this works however.
brilliant shot - i dont care what it is - its just beautiful - very suburbia
Nice bold primaries here, super impact and, yes, love the green peeping in.
I like the composition of this. We know what this is, we just have to view it differently.
That bit of soft green is essential in balancing out the composition - well chosen!
Definitely more Abstract Fridays! I really should check out your Photo Lab; you think they would ship prints and stuff overseas?
Those colours really 'pop', Micki. And yes, it's one of those 'dead on' shots where you just say: "Yes!"
Nice bold shot with great color and alot of initial impact
