Anything goes on Saturdays.

Today is a photo I took with my favorite film…Kodak Ultra Color. I had shot the scene first in infrared, then decided it might look pleasant in color. This is the ranger’s lodge at our local park. It’s a beautiful park that we visit often to watch the sun set.

Camera - Konica Minolta 70
Film - Kodak Ultra Color ISO 100
Shutter Speed - 1/6
Aperture Setting - f-22 Aperture Mode
Lens - Sigma 70-300mm lens@about 70mm
Polarizing Filter
Scanning Method - My Scan on my cheap HP Officejet 5510v all in one

What a lovely park. I'm glad you shot it in color too. Love the red in the building.

I like the way you’ve set this up so the fence line leads the eye down to the cabin and the water. No empty space in this pic . . the entire frame is filled with interest.

Do you ever go out on the water?

I really like the perspective of this shot with the fence leading you down to the building.
You're right, the color is nice. How did you like the infared? Did you compare the two?
