I noticed this morning while I was doing my rounds that a lot of the Blogger Comments boxes were down. Hope things get fixed today, but I’m not holding out hope. Anyway, if things are working here on my blog, take a guess at what this is. It is one of my first shots with my new extension tubes. Still learning when I took this, still learning now after a couple rolls of film.

Had a great day yesterday…my son agreed to a haircut. I’ll tell the details tomorrow, but what a wonderful step forward. Off to start the busiest day of the week.

I think if you plant these, you get these enormous flowers that look like the sun.

They taste good roasted and salted too.

Well, from what i was told as a kid, sunflowers are so called because they always turn to face the Sun.

But these things are tasty stuff. :)

Once upont a time most comments were right, but everyone missed one important detail.

If you plant these a sunflower will certainly grow, but one so ambitious that it will try to reach the real sun. If you climb it you will reach a very special place. What happens next?
