Macro Mondays -- Finally!

OK, I guess yesterday’s shot was too easy again…*pouts It was my son’s ear, the top of it…shot it while he was sleeping. No flash, just the glow from the lamp behind him, hence the warm tones. I guess the visitors to my blog are just way too quick and clever! They are also fantastic photographers and probably all pretty darn good looking!! (Hope everyone is smiling and ready for a new week now! Consider that your pep talk.) I still have the kids on vacation this week, so this Monday doesn’t bother me. No grading, no lesson plans, and a beautiful forecast for today! Of course, no one wants to go out shooting, and I’ve been outnumbered this time. I think I’ll drag them out later this week for one more shoot.

I think I’m going to start Macro Mondays today. While I was waiting for Blogger to get things all fixed up and running so I could put up today’s post, I went out in the yard and shot a few dozen macro images using my new extension tubes!! I’ll have Macro Monday images for a long time to come!

These are two of my most used tools in the house. That is my favorite screwdriver from my collection of screwdrivers. No one touches Mom’s tools. The kids have ruined or lost all my scissors, but the screwdrivers are off limits!!

Then, of course, the clothespin. I use them everywhere except for hanging clothes out on the line. When you live in the woods, hanging your laundry out to dry wouldn’t be the smartest thing to do. Although I would give it a try, but Hubby won’t put up a line for me. That’s me…hopefully optimistic. I’m willing to try anything two or three times before giving up until later.

Happy last week of April!

feedburner won’t work with Blogger for an rss feed. Does anyone else know of another feed I can use?

I have my own tool box too, but no one..eh hem, seems to care and they use them anyway.

These are great macros.

I'm glad blogger is working better...but the comments section on mine shows the wrong # of comments for some reason. oh well.

Looks like your Blogger RSS feed is good to go - yay!

Nothing like a self-imposed photo meme to keep the creativity flowing - my own 'b/wednesday' has served to keep me motivated for over a year now.

I'll definitely be looking forward to each Macro Monday, since macros are a fave of mine - and I honestly hadn't seen this yet when I prepped my Tuesday screwdriver macro...honest! :-)

I love it when everyday images are made to look soo good. The fact that you see a shot in everyday objects that most of us lesser humans miss is commendable. Good good shots.
