I received an e-mail yesterday notifying me that my first rolls of film had been scanned by my lab and were ready for use. I couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of work, and I hope to post the first image by the end of the week. The only drawback is that it is delaying the delivery of my prints by a day or so. Still worth it. Within a few weeks, my days of scanning should be almost non-existent.
Another first bloom for me this spring. Every year these daffodil leaves would sprout up on the southeast side of the yard, but never produced any flowers. This year I was surprised with almost a dozen of these most frilly daffodils. We were expecting a storm, so I cut all these and thought I need to photograph them. I chose to use my husband’s workbooks, as there was a nice contrast with the delicate blooms and his rugged footwear.
Minolta Maxxum 7000 Fuji HQ ISO 200 1/30 f-16 Aperture Mode Sigma 105mm lens
Wonderful contrast :)
"Working happily and colourful" comes into my mind :)
Great shot. Shoes are great subjects.
Interesting addition of the washboard in the background. Rugged boots and delicate flowers, manmade and natural. Good contrasts. :)
Plus Cheerwine just goes good anywhere you put it.
Beautiful photo!!!! I would frame this.
Perfect that the boots still show evidence of work with their bits of grit and grunge caked on - can't wait to see some of those lab scans, too!
Interesting shot. What made you put the shoes besides the flowers?
Lovely Composition.
Nice colors. Just a great idea.
Fallen soldier feel to it.
Cheer...Is that what's found on that can? Cheer up it's Spring?
Nice Piece...Something a painter would wanna reproduce.

Although very simple its also a very creative thought process. Image construction is physical image composition and you have a very good understanding of it.
Oooooooooooooooooh. Did I really miss this one?! This is one of your stronger images. I really like the composition and set up. Why did you put the shoes together? I'm just eternally curious...
Lovely group. Well captured!
shoes look great!...It resembles as my nike shoes...comfort wear!
