Bear with me, please. I was going to post a growth of mushrooms I shot last fall, but I chose this abstract piece instead. It was a cold winter afternoon. I open up the kitchen window and took a picture of two bare trees. I did a little camera shake during a long exposure to create this. Not much to say about it, so you don't have to go into details...only, do you like it or not?

I like it!
Nice effect Micki. Most folks, me included, would have tried to get to the same place with Photoshop. What you did show me we can still do things the old fashioned way. good work.

Another neat thing about this shot is this, ... "it captured my attention".
Simple, effective, and it made me stop, to study it, to think, to take it all in.
Very cool!!
Hrm... I think it would be better if the lines are more obvious. This is still an artistic artwork. :P
nice abstarct look like sketching from charcoal...nice soft lines and colors:-)
I like it :)
It reminds me of some camera tossing pictures I've seen.
Definitely looks painterly. A nice contrast to stuff we've seen lately.
Somehow this is very pleasing to the eye. Maybe it's the soft colors, or the light, breeze-like movement of the camera.
You've created a nice abstract. And it's great that you really did CREATE it.. on film.. with forethought. A very tranquil capture.
I cold never have guessed.
Very good abstract... I love it !!
I love abstract photos so this immediately appealed to me! It is like an impressionistic painting...lovely shot!
Very creative shot, nice one Micki.
I like it! :)
You created the effect many people try to create with software, very nice :)
You know Micki I really love this shot. I love abstract shots like these and many people wonder why I'm drawn to them...I wonder too. Lovely stuff.
simple, but sensitive. it's really nice:)
Nice effect. I thought I was looking at smoke at first.
I like it. You have totally "abstracted" this subject and I think the result is very good. My guess is this is/was a tree? I like the end result.
Very abstract almost relaying a sense of feeling that a visual object. I'm not even going to try to guess what it is :-)
Cool effect ! Nice abstract. How many pictures do you take before you achieve this?
Quite amazing technique.
a piece of an artistic artwork. well done, Micki.
Interesting pattern...hair like effect.
BTW...thought of putting an RSS/Atom feed link on your site for us lazy folk ?
Indeed, a very fascinating shot, with a good portion of abstract 'feel'. The coloured streaks really make this one for me.
