Just a little fun shot today. This one was taken last weekend. I was waiting for the sun to come up, so I turned around and took this picture. I was standing in front of The Yorktown Pub. It had only closed up a few hours ealier. The lot still smelled of beer. Anyway, looking at it this morning, this photo makes me hungry for a burger.

and so another week begins...have a great one!
It is a fun shot. If it weren't for the condiments in the window, I would have thought the building to be abandoned. Looks like it needs a bit of work, at least a good scraping and painting.
Have a great week too!
Lovely shot and well spotted.
he he he he, lovely shot. Just made me smile. Like the fact we can always see images where ordinary there are none. Good capture.
love this image. and love A1 sauce...
A1 sauce? is it brown? over we have HP sauce in an identical bottle. Great photo, great sauce!
At first glance this made me chuckle. Perfect reaction for a Monday morning to get me going. Thanks.
nice framing, i like the peeling paint on the window frame...adding a touch of character:-)
Great composition. Love the subject matter too...especially the worn paint on the window. Definitely creates a mood.
A beautiful nocturnal photo, you have controlled the illumination perfectly. I congratulate to you.
Nice composition and the everyday made interesting.
Good shot. The windowsill colr really makes this shot great.
Nice shot. I reckon the beer and food is good...no nonsense...nothing fancy.
Mmmm. Pub.
This is a great shot. I love the way the light is reflecting in the window but not obscuring the shot. I love how you bring variety to your work everyday- always trying new stuff!
Certainly doesn't look like a pub as i know it. :o Like Jackson said it probably needs some working on.
good work! it looks very scruffy!
I just want to get in there with a putty knife and some glass cleaner!
Cool Pic! :)
Well, I can only restate what others have said - nice lighting, composition! Makes me want to shoot more in color.
I would have not thought it's a pub. For awhile, I thought it's a window from a paint gallery or something. Weird, but this image makes me think of other things beside a pub that is...
I wouldnt have guessed it was a pub! The framing makes it an amazing shot!
A pub...but nary a beer in the picture! You've let me down.
Actually, just a picture of a beer would be more of a tease than anything else, so I guess it's quite OK.
(Nice shot, by the way.)
Nice composition. A lovely picture. Well spotted !
Excellent composition, nice texture of the window framing...well-done!
It wouldnt entice me in but it makes a great shot.
Ha! My thoughts exactly Wolf! That place needs a SERIOUS reno. Paint, caulking...I could go one!
Very interesting subject matter here Micki...nice one!
Nicely done!!
Nice composition!
an interesting shot. nice framing
I like the lighting on the window ;)
mmmmm it reminds me the places I usually visit to eat when Im travelling hehehe :)
I just noticed the reflection of the sunrise and golden sky in the window! :)
Donncha
