It's My Party -- I'll Taste if I Want To

Blogger micki said...

It’s Monday, so let’s have some fun. We could probably all use a laugh.

Last fall was my younger son’s birthday. While I was setting things up to take the “perfect birthday boy” photo, he got into the cake. I ended up with more of these photos than the posed. By time the hat was on him, the family gathered, and the candles lit, the cake needed a second application of frosting on his side. I’m stressing his side here.

This is a very sweet shot. I think the candid shots often have so much more depth and meaning than posed. I love it.

A great candid shot something that will always be in folk law at least until his stag party when copies can be freely distributed :)

Very nice capture of those special times in a youngster's life. These succeed in a way a posed picture couldn't.
Great mood created.

those are both very nice shots. Composition is just right and nothing distracts from the cool moment you were trying to capture.
