It’s Monday, so let’s have some fun. We could probably all use a laugh.

Last fall was my younger son’s birthday. While I was setting things up to take the “perfect birthday boy” photo, he got into the cake. I ended up with more of these photos than the posed. By time the hat was on him, the family gathered, and the candles lit, the cake needed a second application of frosting on his side. I’m stressing his side here.

This is a very sweet shot. I think the candid shots often have so much more depth and meaning than posed. I love it.

Thanks for your comments Micki, the cart was spotted during a roadtrip..we were passing through an Indian village near Aurangabad.
