Thanks everyone for your kind and sincere words yesterday. I took them all to heart. I’m feeling much better today. When you’ve hit bottom, there’s only one way out, and that’s up!
Last summer my hubby bought me a new van. Also, it was my first NEW, new vehicle. The old van I’d been driving was used when we bought it. I wasn’t too keen on having a car payment again, but we did need the new vehicle for safety’s sake. So, I took a picture of the headlight, because it was so COOL looking.
Konica Minolta 70 Fuji HQ ISO 100 1/125 f-8 Aperture Mode Sigma 105mm lens (Probably my favorite lens, although I did have some fun with the new 500mm zoom this past weekend.)
WoW, I like it!
The photo looks really sci-fi, it reminds me of T1000 while mutating from the TerminatorII movie:)
Lovely shot, i like the contrast. Nice one Micki!
this is a very nice abstract, i like it
I wouldn't have guessed that it was a headlight. Very abstract look to it.
On another note, I spent hours last night stripping my site down to basic black. Then I look at your site this morning and I realize mine is almost identical. Did you edit with your template? Back to the drawing board. ;)
excellent abstract shot - have to say it looks like no van that i've ever seen!!
Very nice shot, love the reflections.
Cool abstract shot. The van's hood appears to be deep plum color, very pretty.
I just downsized from a van last year, now that the kids are starting to leave the nest. *sigh*
Glad you are feeling better today.
Lovely composition. Great shine.
wow great shot! thanks for the comment on my site micki! i appreciate it.
That's indeed a very cool headlight. Here in Singapore four wheels are very expensive. So i'm moving around on two.
Great shot micki.. It looks like it is from a concept car!
Advertising image. A very urban combination with an artist vision.
Looks very futuristic! Reminds me of a rocket-ship somehow! What car is it anyways?
I really love the crhome in this shot. How clean is the headlight now :)
Nice glass and chrome capture.
Cool Shot

cool. this is a very sexy abstract;)
incredible abstract, i've tried some of these types of shots, but you've taken this shot to a level of sheer artistic wonderment.
wow so nice is it cars light?
Nice pattern & lighting. Well captured.
Micki, thanks for visiting and commenting. Love this shot, really imprresive! Very 'space age'!
Lovely shot. makes me want to go buy a headlamp (not car cause can't afford it) :)

Nice detail work and reflections. What kind of car was this?
