WHAT IS IT?
While at the park shooting pictures of the sunset one evening, I looked down to see this guy off on his own. There were swans, mallard ducks, and Canada Geese...and him. Although his body is duck-like, his bill is sharp, not rounded like a duck's. The feathers on the top of his head look almost like thick hair, and that mask on his face looks turkey-like. Any idea what this critter is?

I would have to guess some sort of ugly turkey. I've not seen anything like it before.
First time I see something like this..
Just for laugh, when I saw the photo one thing came to my mind, I guess because here in my place its everyday on the news...AVIAN FLU! :P
I think that this would be a turkey too, albiet a very sick and ugly one.

Thanks for droppin' by "nativ flavaz" Micki and commenting. It is always rewarding to meet new people.
As for who or what type of poultry this is, I have no idea. I've never seen anything like it, but it has put me off KFC at least for tonight anyway!;D
I'm going with the ugly turkey theory too. Thanks for stopping by my site!
