Saw a photo similar to this, a way back, with a grown woman and her father each holding their generation's floppy disk. Thought I'd use that idea, but make the subject music; and separate the generations one more step. Although technically far from perfect, we had fun putting this one together.
Minolta Maxxum 7000 Kodak's C-41 Friendly B&W (which I do not recommend using ever, the enlargements are thin and pinkish) Minolta 50mm lens
haha , for some reason that seems kinda funny haha/ goof job
Good concept, and I bet it was fun. I especially like the expression on the older woman's face.
You could expand on the idea by putting a third kid in there around 5 years old holding the smallest mp3 player you can find.
Really nice concept :) Well done.
Thanks for your comment on Something like that. I'am dicovering your blog with pleasue. A lot of interesting shot and a tender look on the world.
Cool idea. I was thinking the same thing as Robert. An MP3 player would complete the picture. Some friends and I were just having this type of discussion the other day.
Great idea for a shot and nicely taken. Great Shot!
I was talking about going to the Record Store and my son asked what a record was!
I do not really like how the frame of her glasses intersects with her eyes. I like the concept, but I would like to see more of a face off/clash in the picture.
ha ha. the expression on the faces of these ladies is hysterical. fun concept.
Nice B&W and creative setup! cheers
Hahaha, really really nice shot:)
Cool idea for a portrait. It's amazing how far things have come. I remember listening to records in the living room with my headphones on because my parents hated my music. :)
awesome idea, and so ture, love it. I'm really enjoying your blog, your a very talented photographer.
