Regarding yesterday’s shot of the tree frog, mar00ned asked what color the tree frog is. When I found him, he was pale white and I thought he was dead. It was over 100F on the porch and he was sleeping in a folded up lawn chair. He came right around after being in the air conditioned house. He quickly turned green gray. He changes colors with his environment, but most of the time he’s a stone gray color. Ricardo asked where I found him, so that answered that question. Now he lives in my sons’ room, although my youngest daughter cares for him. He’s an amazing bug catcher. He leaps from the side of the aquarium holding on with the toes of only one foot and grabs whatever grasshopper is within reach for him to eat. He can stretch really far! Most of his day are spent sleeping on the top of a very large branch that sits in the aquarium.
So at 7:00 yesterday evening, a tree branch fell and hit my van while it was parked in the front of the house. It dented the roof, the door, and completely broke the back window out. This stinks, but at least the rain forecast for today is minimal. So, there you go. On a good note, I have plenty of car insurance, and as long as I have a rental by the end of today so I can go out shooting while the van is in the shop, I’ll be a happy camper.
It's specialty film today. I love eggs, not to eat. I don’t like to eat them, but they are my favorite still shot subject. I love grainy film. Put the two together, and I’m really a happy camper.

Well, I like to eat eggs! Yumm! ;-) I can't say that I've ever taken any pictures of eggs, though I can see why you find them attractive. They are nothing but curves.

I love to take pictures of eggs too. this is wonderful. I love the grain and the long shadow.

Lovely T-Max grain here. The whole shot echoes the smooth visual simplicity of the egg. But, you knew that!

There was an incident here a few weeks ago involving a tree branch and a kid at school. I'll spare you the details.
